Krueger, Darlene Ann (Marriage - 24 Sept. 1960)

Miss Darlene Ann Krueger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Krueger of Abbotsford, and DeLyle Singstock, son of Mrs. Ted Baumgart of Unity, were united in marriage in Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating at the service. Herbert Juneau played the organ and sang "The Lord’s Prayer" and "O Perfect Love."

Coming before the altar which was decorated with baskets of mixed fall flowers, the bride wore a floor-length gown of white Chantilly lace and tulle styled by a sabrina neckline outlined with sequins and pearls and long tapered sleeves. The full skirt was designed with tiers of ruffles. Her finger-tip veil of silk illusion held to a pearl and sequin trimmed hat. She carried American beauty roses and feathered white chrysanthemums. Mrs. Ray Miller, Jr. of Colby was in the wedding party as matron of honor. The bride’s niece, Miss Diane Raymond of Wausau, and her cousin, Miss Joan Weller of Abbotsford were bridesmaids. Their gowns were of lace and net in fall colors of orchid, green and yellow, respectively, and were designed with satin cummerbunds, full skirts and matching jackets. They all carried matching feathered carnations and white pompon bouquets.

Ray Miller of Colby was best man and the groomsmen were Darrell Krueger, the bride’s brother, and Marlyn Laabs, her cousin. Dennis Krueger and Rueben Frome, cousins of the bride and groom, were ushers.

A reception was held at the Krueger home and supper was served about 250 guests in the church parlors. In the evening, a dance was held at the Memorial Hall in Dorchester, Wis.

Mrs. Singstock attended schools in Abbotsford and has been employed by Employers Mutuals at Wausau. The groom went to Colby schools and works for Laab’s Cheese Co., Curtiss. After a honeymoon through southern Wisconsin they will make their home in Abbotsford, Wis.
